Who makes the Blümchen cloth diapers?

Blümchen diapers are developed in Austria and produced overseas.

We produce our organic line in Pakistan, with fairly produced organic cotton - the seal of approval for this I may not use as a non-certified Berieb. A certification always affects all production and import companies, which costs accordingly much and only pays off from thousands of pieces. Our production plant in Pakistan complies with the ILO core labor standards(SMETA audited), is ISO-9001 and ÖKO-TEX 100 class 1 certified. Link to ILO page.

We produce our PUL, microfiber and bamboo diapers at a highly qualified partner company in China, which we found after a long search. There we have many years of experience in working with PUL, so that the optimal tightness of the waterproof membrane is maintained. The achieved quality is continuously tested (CPSIA approved) and meets our high demands on quality and processing. Of course, the production also complies with the ILO core labour standards.

Individual products made of PUL, microfibre, bamboo viscose and hemp are manufactured in Turkey with the ÖKO-TEX 100 Class 1 certification. These products are clearly marked with "Made in Turkey" on the laundry label and are also offered as such. Due to the production location, these products are slightly more expensive than our Chinese counterparts.
